Pamasko 2022: for the Pediatric Cancer Patients of Bahay Aruga

The U.P. Pre-Medical Society held its annual Pamasko on December 18, 2022. 15 volunteers from the organization visited Bahay Aruga in Ermita, Manila — a free halfway house for pediatric cancer patients.

We were able to hand out 20 Christmas hampers to the children and families of Bahay Aruga. These Christmas hampers included essentials such as ingredients for Noche Buena, school supplies, and alcohol. Wishlists filled out by the children prior to the event were also fulfilled and given to them during Pamasko.

Overall, the cheerful event was a great success and it was evident that the holiday cheer and spirit was shared by both the UP PMS volunteers and the children and the families of Bahay Aruga.
